ASIA MY LOVE

Con el pasar de los años he ido desarrollando un profundo amor por la comida asiática. Me parece tan toda la historia y técnica que hay detrás de sus platillos.

Empece a seguir en instagram a XLB (4090 N. Williams Avenue Portland) y me encantaban la presentación de sus platillos y se llego el día de conocerlos.

La comida es deliciosa y el ambiente es moderno y acogedor. Estaba super interesada en probar los Xia Long Bao, sobre todo por la técnica que requieren por que tienen sopa por dentro y en efecto, estaba increíbles, la sensación de morder y tener el splash de sopa en la boca fue super interesante. También comimos unos fideos con cerdo y camarones, que estuvieron riquísimos.

With the passing of the years, I have developed a love for Asian food. I think it’s super interesting all the history and technic behind every plate.

I started following on Instagram the account of XLB (4090 N. Williams Avenue Portland) and I loved how they presented their dishes and finally the time to have lunch there arrived.

I can tell you that the food is delicious and the atmosphere is modern and cozy. I was very interested in tasting the  Xia Long Bao, because of all the technic that requires to fill them with broth and in fact, they were incredible, the feeling of biting and having your mouth filled with a splash of soup is really interesting. We also had some noodles with pork and shrimp that were really good.
