Choripan as it should be!

If you are in Argentina you MUST eat a Choripan, this is a classic street food in Argentina, I can tell you, and you won’t regret it.

A lot of people said that if you really want to get to know the culture of the country your trip should include a visit to the local market, I will also add that you also need to eat the street food.

I was really excited about eating Choripan, and the Choripan didn’t disappoint. I live in Guatemala, so a lot of our food is really spicy, especially the sauces, so I expected a Chimichurri, that is the sauce of the Choripan to be really strong, but it wasn't strong, was lite, but when I tried the sausage of the Choripan it was PERFECT, all the flavor came from the meat, you don't need more.

Another benefit is the price, I spent like $5 on lunch and the portion was perfect, what you don't have to expect is a fancy place, remember is street food, I ate it in a place near the Bombonera, the house had a enormous grill and since it was a family business everyone cooks all the food they even had tables on the sidewalk, so the whole experience is very interesting.

Si estas en Argentina TENES que comer un choripan. Este es un clásico de la comida callejera en Argentina, y te puedo asegurar que no te vas arrepentir.

Muchas personas dicen que si quieres conocer la cultura de un lugar durante un viaje, deberías incluir una visita al mercado local y yo también incluiría comer algo de comida callejera.

Realmente estaba emocionada con la idea de comer un choripan, y les puedo decir que no me decepciono. Yo vivo en Guatemala y mucha de nuestra comida está llena de sabor, en especial las salsas, así que lo que esperaba era que el chimichurri  que es la salsa del choripan, fuera realmente fuerte, pero fue todo lo contrario, bastante suave, cuando probe la salchicha del choripan era PERFECTA, todo el sabor que venia de la carne de la salchicha te hacia entender que no necesitabas más.

Otro beneficio es el precio, nosotros gastamos como $5 cada uno en el almuerzo, y la porción fue perfecto, lo que no tienes que esperar es un plato muy elegante, hay que recordar que es comida callejera. Yo lo probe en un lugar cerca de la Bombonera, la casa tenia una parrilla enorme, y como era un negocio familiar, todos participaban, tenían mesitas en la acera, así que toda la experiencia fue realmente interesante.
