Este almuerzo empezó siendo un desayuno. Les explico como paso esto.
Teníamos mucho tiempo sin poder vernos con mi mejor amigo, entonces decidimos ir el sábado por la mañana juntarnos a las 10 am. Pero a los 15min de finalmente haber quedado en una fecha y hora, me llama para cambiar un poco el plan, por que le iban hacer un retrato.
Así que el plan quedo, en ir por el retrato y luego ibamos a desayunar. Afortunadamente, comí bien esa mañana y mi plan era en lugar de desayunar como tal, hacer mi refa AM con él. Les digo afortunadamente, por que, no me quieren ver como me pongo cuando tengo hambre.
Este día estuvo lleno de sorpresas, fuimos al estudio de Jorge Chavarria, quién trabaja con cámaras de gran formato análogas. Verlo hacer su magia fue un privilegio, tanto así que no nos dimos cuenta y salimos de ahí a medio día. Obviamente por el horario, desayunar ya no era una opción.
El cariño que nos tenemos con Meme es tan grande que el estaba dispuesto a comer algo saludable para hacerme ganas y yo estaba dispuesta a adaptarme en el lugar que él propusiera. Al final me dijo que el lo que se le antojaba era ir por una hamburguesa, entonces decidimos ir a Better Burgers.
Yo ya había ido al restaurante y se que lo único saludable en este lugar es el agua pura, así que decidí tener un segundo cheat meal y comer algo delicioso.

Yo pedí un Beefy Grilled Cheese Sandwich, principalmente por que hay pocos restaurantes que tengan grilled cheese sandwich y menos con variaciones.
Meme pidió una hamburguesa que supongo que estaba deliciosa por su cara y unos jalapeño poppers rellenos de queso crema, que estaban riquísimos.
Mi sandwich traía cebolla caramelizada, una tortita de carne y muchísimo queso. Generalmente cuando pido algo que tiene algo con cebolla caramelizada, me decepciona por que termina empalagándome, sin embargo esta grilled cheese es un sueño, esta balanceado a la perfección y la carne estaba jugosa. Todo se mezclaba increíblemente en la boca.
Uff vale la pena romper la dieta de vez en cuando por estas delicisas!
This lunch started as a breakfast. Let me explain to you how this happened.
We had not been able to hang out and catch up with my best friend, so we decided to go for breakfast on Saturday at 10 am. But after deciding a date and hour he called me 15 min later to tell me that he had a portrait, and if we could changed a little the plan. First he was going to the portrait and then to have breakfast.
Fortunately I ate breakfast, and my plan was to have my AM snack with him instead of my breakfast. I tell you fortunately for him because, you don´t want to see me when I´m hungry.
This day was full of surprises, we went to Jorge Chavarria´s studio, how works with big format analog cameras. And looking at him making his magic was a privilege. This is why we didn´t noticed the hour and we finished with Jorge at noon, so having breakfast wasn´t an option.
With Meme we love each other so much, that he was willing to eat something healthy for me, and I was willing to give up the diet and eat something he would enjoy. At the end he confessed to me that what he wanted was a burger, so we went to Better Burgers.
I had been in this restaurant, and I knew that the only healthy option in there was water, so I decided to officially have two cheat meal for week.

I ordered a Beefy Grilled Cheese Sandwich, mainly because there are few restaurants in Guatemala that has this option in their menu.
Meme ordered a burger that I guess that was good, because of his face, and some jalapeño poppers, filled with cream cheese, that were delicious.
My sandwich had caramelized onions, a beef patty and lots of cheese. Generally when I order something with caramelized onions, I often feel disappointed most of the times, because it ends up palling me, however this grilled cheese was a dream come true, all the flavors were balanced, and the meat was so juicy. All blended incredibly in your mouth.
Phew! breaking the diet, for this beauty, was totally worth it!!
